Financing small and medium-sized businesses in times of war: innovative approaches and support programs

Abstract

Today, financial support for small businesses is a real catalyst for change and an important factor in the economic recovery of Ukraine. After all, the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises ensure the satisfaction of local consumer demand, which stimulates the circulation of money and contributes to socio-economic well-being. The following research methods were used in the study: critical analysis, generalization and systematization; the inductive method was applied. The thesis presents the latest approaches to financing the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine during the war, in particular: crowdfunding, venture capital financing, the use of blockchain technologies, etc. The thesis also discusses government programs for financing small and medium-sized enterprises.

Сьогодні фінансова підтримка малого бізнесу є справжнім каталізатором змін і важливим фактором економічного відновлення України. Адже діяльність малого та середнього підприємництва забезпечує задоволення місцевого споживчого попиту, що стимулює грошовий обіг та сприяє соціально-економічному добробуту. У дослідженні використано такі методи дослідження: критичний аналіз, узагальнення та систематизація; застосовувався індуктивний метод. У дисертації представлені новітні підходи до фінансування діяльності малого та середнього бізнесу в Україні під час війни, зокрема: краудфандинг, венчурне фінансування, використання блокчейн-технологій тощо. У дисертації також розглядаються державні програми фінансування малого та середні підприємства.
