SUBLIMATION AS AN ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF STORING BERRIES

Abstract

The method of sublimation was invented quite by accident in the middle of the XIX century. Only then it was used to maintain the activity of various microorganisms for a long time, ie, for the manufacture of drugs and yeast. This method was then used to prepare food for astronauts, and in everyday life sublimated products have become available relatively recently. Sublimation is an alternative way of preserving food, thanks to which fruits and berries do not lose all important and useful properties
